Greatest Hits is the first greatest hits album of American rock band Blink-182.It was released on October 31, 2005 by Geffen Records. Greatest Hits was created by Geffen shortly after the band’s February 2005 breakup, termed an ’indefinite hiatus’ by the label. Tensions had risen in the group and guitarist Tom DeLonge desired to take time off. Bassist Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker argued with. Blink’s Greatest Hits is compiled from tracks from Cheshire Cat, Dude Ranch, Enema of the State, The Mark, Tom and Travis Show, Take Off Your Pants And Jacket and Blink-182 and more. The CD also sports two bonus items, ’Not Now’ (an outtake from its 2003 self-titled album) and ’Another Girl Another Planet’, which serves as the theme to the MTV.Greatest Hits (Blink-182 album) has been listed as one of the Music good articles under the good article criteria. Like Dammit and Josie, the version of Down on this album is also the single edit, not the original song. The ending of the song was changed for radio-play, as is apparent if you listen to it, so the page should mention this as it does for Dammit and Josie. The Background section of this article repeats itself. First, it gives an interesting paragraph about the breakup with details that make sense, but then repeats itself with a an extremely vague paragraph filled with speech that dodges the issues and is wholly uninteresting like something from a press release. I’m not familiar enough with this group enough to edit the article but could someone comfortable with this subject clean this up?173.14.55.209 (talk) 13:30, 25 October 2010 (UTC)Image needed for the DVD[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Greatest Hits (Blink-182 album)’s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can’t determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

RateAttributeReview Comment1.Well written:1a. the prose is clear, concise, and understandable to an appropriately broad audience; spelling and grammar are correct. The compilation was released alongside a DVD of the same name, collecting the band’s music videos to that point. - Consider writing ’..a collection of the band’s music videos at that point in time’ or similar.
Nevertheless, the possible deal loomed over the band in addition to growing internal tension. - Consider changing this to ’...loomed over the band, contributing to internal tension’ or similar
In addition, DeLonge disliked Barker’s new reality television series, Meet the Barkers; he disliked television cameras everywhere, feeling as though his personal privacy was invaded - Try not to use disliked twice in one sentence.
Try to keep the capitalization of the band consistent throughout this article. I know it can kind of go either way.1b. it complies with the manual of style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation.2.Verifiable with no original research:2a. it contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline.
